Phobjikha is one of Bhutan’s few glacial valleys and is a designated conservation area, as the winter home of the endangered black-necked crane.

The Amankora Gangtey has eight Suites that are identical to those of Amankora Thimphu, providing an open-plan living and bedroom area with views across the valley. The interior features a King size Bed, a reading chair and a traditional bukhari positioned between the bedroom and the bathroom.

The restaurant at Amankora Gangtey serves Western and Bhutanese cuisine. The Dining Room features cosy chairs, sofas and family-style dining tables, all looking out through floor-to-ceiling windows over the valley and surrounding mountains.
